I wish I could pull this image from my profile. This is one of those times when an idea did not materialise into a picture of an acceptable quality. I should not have submitted this one.

Light from a table lamp projected my shadow and the light through through the bottle and the glass onto a wall at an angle. Tripod-mounted camera triggered by an IR remote control with a 2s delay. My main aim was to bring colour into the shadow, and create a shot with a mood.

Post-processing: Processed from RAW. In PS: auto colour, removed three spots on the wall using the spot healing brush. Straigtened the canvas a bit, then cropped just a little bit around the perimeter. Resized, onverted to sRGB, 8bit, saved as JPEG.

I wish I knew what was causing the double-edged shadow so that I could get rid of it...

On the plus side, I really like that you have created "colored" shadows with the bottle & glass. The multiple shadows (multiple light sources?), though, seem pretty distracting. I find myself looking at the illusion of movement, rather than at the subject's contemplation.

I've heard of people like you. People who live in the subways. People who drink through their eye-sockets. Of course, there's the chance you've just got a drinking problem. The problem being finding your mouth after a few too many.
