 Shot at dawn on a protographic trip to the Reykjanes peninsula Iceland. It was dark enough for the moon to be still visible and bright enough to light up the scene.

So lovely! I like the grainy texture of the road in comparison to the clouds and snow.

Thanks. Often when you go out shooting, you have no idea what you're actually going to shoot. For this shot I did see the full moon on my way to work the day before and cursed because I did not have the camera with me. The next day when I went with a group of people on a photo trip I had already pictured this image in my mind. Luckily the moon did show up and I could execute my plan. :)
