Awesome capture. Excellent texture details. I like the sense of protectiveness that the image presents. As I was typing the word protective, I thought I would look at the title ... Your shot presents it without the title. Good work!!!

I really really like this a lot. I LOVE elephants. I am wondering if you took just a little off from the bottom if that would make it an even stronger imgage.

Witha beautiful, evocative subject like this you simply can't go wrong. He's adorable and you've used a long lens well here. Nice DOF and I like the cropping of the elders - fits the title and willo pluck at the heart strings. Aren't elephants just wonderful.
