This definately says round, the cute little chubby round face of a child.
The lighting and focus both seem to be pretty good.
Overall I find this to be one of those very endearing photos that ends up being a keepsake for the family of a happy giggling child. Nice approch to the challenge. Well excuted. |

| this is great! really good composition. Glad you haven't opted for a more obvious shot. a bit grainy in places but i know how difficult it can be. |

| This is a great picture and a very creative approach to the challenge. This definatly depicts roundness. The details are amazing and it's blurred and sharp in just the right places. |

I have three little boys and my experience is that images like this don't score well here. But, I love shots like this, so I am going to give you a great score! Your lighting and focus are excellent, and your DOF gives the image the right amount of softness. The only thing I would like better is if there were more room at the top of the frame. The child's eye leads you to the top, and BAM, it just ends. I would try this with less crop on top. For all those 1's and 2's I got for great photos of my kids, I'm going to give you a 10!

| Nice details in the eyelashes. Background doesn't offer enough contrast - the babies' face seems to disappear into the background, not a crisp edge. The grain (in the lower cheeks and upper nose) is a bit heavy. Lighting on the upper cheek is a bit too strong, too. 6 Rob the Swash |

| Like it...soft, round. You'll get hammered for the soft focus and the grain but for me it works. Very expressive for just an eye, cheek and a nose. |
