I am new here and relatively so to serious photography; so, I will offer only my response, not a critique.
I like the concept alot! The detail is impecable.
Why is the trombone wet?
It's almost like seeing a nude perfectly at ease, purportedly covered in sweat - it is wonderful to see when done well, but better if there is some cogent explanation to carry the photo beyond impact and into an experience.
It could be oil. It almost looks like shaving from a lathe or other mill work in the tray below. But there is no indication of what that is about either.
But this is photography, not fiction, and there needn't always be a plot structure, right? On image alone you have my top mark so far. Well done. |

Hrmm... looks like you flipped this one horizontally .. either that or you've got some weird trombone!

nice detail you've got here. I'm not sure if the waterdrops are a little overdone (too much of them), gonna think about it. |
