This image was thoroughly inspired by Ursula's ribbon winning entry. Thanks for the inspiration Ursula.

Simple setup really. I took a mirror and smeared shampoo on it. With an old credit card, I smeared the shampoo and created the radial patterns seen here. I "googled" NASA images and found a Nebula captured by the Hubble Telescope. With the image projected on my screen, I placed the mirror just in front of it and setup my camera on a tripod. Turned off all the lights except that of the monitor.

Shot RAW and processed in RSE. Just a simple color adjustment and some minor cloning and crop. Simple.

It's interesting how the minute I enter this image, the Abstract Challenge is posted :)

Not sure what this is, but don't care. Love it as an abstract, love the colors and the irridecence. Sort of reminds me of a crab.

This is really so differant and a magic image..... This would have done so well in the abstract challenge..... Maybe cropped a little tighter in the front.

Love the colors and shapes in this photo. Fits the challenge well, but too bad it couldn't be entered in the abstract challenge.
