I like the pose and the focus. However I think the color and tone could be improved here. I went ahead and played with this a bit using the basic editing and here is what I came up with (see below). This may not be the direction you were going but perhaps it'll help in some way. Anyway, I hope you don't mind me doing this. I do like your photo in general.

| Really nice photo, but I question how romantic it is. How old is this "girl"? I can't tell if she's 12 or 24, a shirtless 12 year old is not usually too romantic. Otherwise it is a reall nice photo. |

| This is a well done portrait that has a nice intimate feel to it, but I can't quite see romance. I would have preferred to see a little more headroom for the girl, at least in front of her forehead. |

| The softness of this photo is very romantic. Her gaze looks full of daydreams - she is in another world. The light on her hair is a bright and real contrast with her mood - it is sharp and real and glowing. I like the balance. Good use of DOF to isolate the subject from the background. I like the color as well. |

| Nice model, and over-the-shoulder angle to tie into challenge. Focus on eye and more DOF would be better, as the ear dominates not just in location, but in focus. Consider a plain background to eliminate distractions. |
