 Taken at Marblehead lighthouse on Lake Erie. I was going to enter a shot of the lighthouse. But I had taken this while there and really liked it.

Wow my first ribbon thanks to all those who voted and commented on my picture, it is greatly appreciated.

Greetings from the Critique Club.

A great photo, well deserving of a ribbon. The composition works very well, especially putting the subject off-center. The reflection is colorful and abstract, and certainly interesting but not really powerful enough to stand on its own. Embedding it in bland (although far from being devoid of interest) and concrete setting makes it stand out. The combination is far greater than its parts. Very well done. Congratuations!

The window and the reflection is very nice in itself, the off centered position makes the picture much better. The almost undetectable thin green frame (in the color of the window)shows your talent.Congratulations!

I really like what you've done with this simple shot. Very appealing and artistic IMO. I have some photos of Marblehead, but I didn't do any close up as you have here. Excellent.

I absolutely love windows. So, I love this shot. The use of the colores of the window pane and the blue sky with a contrast of white is very nice. Bravo.

Wonderful capture. This is being really nit-picky, but I would like to have seen a little morespace to the right of the window. Either that, or none at all and just crop closer. As it is, the window looks sort of squeezed onto the canvas. 6

I just love this. You don't usually see a solid white building like this. The texture of the bricks is great. Almost surreal like it's floating. The window's green in combination with the deep blue sky and the trees' reflection are really eye catching. WOW 10
