I really like this. great color and composition. I do wish the yellow center had just a bit more detail, it keeps you looking.

Nice shot!

Too bad Lensbaby images don't get much play on DPC.
I happen to love the effect. Most DPC'ers just see them as out of focus.

I have been lurking around this one a lot and thinking why I did not get it. I guess it was because of the purple. I am honest, although it's strange, but the more I look at this one, the more I like it. Maybe not for Blue II, but as a simple shot. Thanks for making me think about this shot.

Wow, Gordon.. you never cease to amaze me. This is a fantastic shot (too bad DPchallenge doesn't understand it).

As far as the commenters about not being in focus, it is in focus.

Sorry, this is rather purple than blue, and it's quite out of focus. Also the aberration on the edge of the petals is distracting. Yellow adds a nice colour element, though.

I just don't see much blue here. This is a good picture, but not for this challenge.

This appears more purple than blue to me. Maybe the white balance was a bit off? Pretty shot though.
