Thank you all for your informative comments. The flecks are "reflections" as the mask was on a polester velvet and it was highly reflective. I adjusted the levels as much as I could to get rid of them, but couldn't get rid of them all without affecting the mask itself.
I also felt that there might not be enough blue in the photo for some, but I liked it. Oh well, there's always the next challenge. :)

Love the mask. The blue stands out against the white and gold. The background looks strange with all the flecks on the right side. |

It's a pretty mask, but you didn't add any of yourself to the picture. |
