 A rather past-its-prime flower. I liked the curves and the elegance of the stem as well as including just a tiny bit of the flower. No cropping. Post-processing was levels, curves, and cloning out of some dust-spots as well as increasing saturation a bit.

It probably gets around a 5.0 because it's very plain, but I really like it, so that's ok.

I've been watching this photo a couple of times. I like the very soft colors and the crop of the tulip. my eyes lead to the left bottom.

I usually hate anything on a plain white background, but this is different. I really like pale tones, the curve, and the minimal shadow. The whole effect is very graceful. For some reason, I would have liked it better if the flower were at the top of the picture, but that is my personal taste. 6
