 Taken at the Sepulveda Wildlife Preserve in Southern California. Looking forward to your comments. Shot at 1/1250 at f/4.5 ISO 125 -0.3 exposure compensation
I know the wings seem a little hot, but with more exposure compensation it was underexposed. I guess thats the difficulty in shooting all white birds in broad daylight.

I like how low to the water you are here, both the bird and the POV. The colors are rich and the shape of the bird and the trailing feet are well defined. Of course getting the water that nice tone came at the cost of conciderable loss of detail in the wing. Some day I will see a shot that gets all the textures in the egret's wing, but still keeps the backround nice and bright.Still good focus and DOF; ought to be right up there if the big white birds over water don't split their votes.

Nice capture. Wings are blown out, but focus, color, and profile of wings are all good, wing-tips touching water is special.

Very graceful photo of this bird in flight, the wings just skimming the water really add to this. My two cents would be to crop out the land at the top. Very good photograph as is though.

Nice timing. Very nice blue in the water but you've lost a bit in the feather detail but focus is very crisp.

great colours and great capture...I reckon you could have lost the land on top and cropped it to jest a water background, but that's just a personal preference for me...well done, it's a sharp, crisp shot

A little bit too much exposure as the white of the wings looks blown out. Very nice contrast and color though. I would've liked it a little more if it wasn't centered in the shot too...
