Just hanging out? Now that is not somewhere I want to be close to...watching the history or national geo channels, I have seen enough attachs by them to make me be afraid.....
Awesome picture... Love the greens and the focal points here..

Capture of pose and algae cover is great. Nice composition, sharpness, DOF, textures, and visible eye. Wonderful. |

Yup this is the one, my pick for the top spot. The ivory of the croc and the green of the alge work like magic, witht he strong diagonal of the snout working well with the crop: good DOF provides plenty of detail on the subject while minimising distractions in the backround. It might have benfited by a bit darker blacks to bring up the pop factor, but this is the best of the crop. |

He's been slimed! LOL. Now that is wildlife (no petting I bet) and it looks like his natural habitat, so good enough for me. Nice job. |

Yuck! That's for the critter, not the picture - the picture is nicely done - good detail, nice positioning in the frame. |

Great shot.
I'd have loved to have seen it cropped closer to include just the head, it'd have a strong diagonal across the frame then. |

Nice capture. With all that algae covering it it looks like a creature from an old sci-fi film. The composition is nice and uncluttered. I'd like to see the focus a bit sharper in its eye. |
