Thank you all for the comments. I'm fairly new to photography and have learned quite a bit so far by looking at other people's work on here.
Hoping to do better in the future and continue improving.

| This I'm positive will suffer DPC votings. Abstracts unfortunately don't do so well here. I've done a few and it wasn't where I expected the scores to be ;( An improvement perhaps would be to locate the flower itself usig ROTs. It's amazing how many entries actually forget about this most basic rule in photography ;) I hope you do well and meet your goals in thie challenge. Good luck my friend. |

| Lovely colours and shapes. I'd change the composition to off-center the main subject, or, perhaps, crop it to a square frame. |

| Part of the fun of the challenge is comparing the photos to the work of the photographers they're paying tribute to. I can't figure out who that would be in this case. I am not too fond of abstacts so my reaction to this might be a bit pre-ordained. It feels to me that the centered composition would be less interesting than an off centered one consistent with the golden mean / rule of thirds. Now you may have intentionally centered the composition, and that's fine, but it wouldn't be my preference. |
