Thank you all for the comments. I'm fairly new to photography and have learned quite a bit so far by looking at other people's work on here.
Hoping to do better in the future and continue improving.
What are ROTs?

This I'm positive will suffer DPC votings. Abstracts unfortunately don't do so well here. I've done a few and it wasn't where I expected the scores to be ;( An improvement perhaps would be to locate the flower itself usig ROTs. It's amazing how many entries actually forget about this most basic rule in photography ;) I hope you do well and meet your goals in thie challenge. Good luck my friend.

Is this a picture OF a picture? I could have sworn that was not allowed?

Lovely colours and shapes. I'd change the composition to off-center the main subject, or, perhaps, crop it to a square frame.

Part of the fun of the challenge is comparing the photos to the work of the photographers they're paying tribute to. I can't figure out who that would be in this case. I am not too fond of abstacts so my reaction to this might be a bit pre-ordained. It feels to me that the centered composition would be less interesting than an off centered one consistent with the golden mean / rule of thirds. Now you may have intentionally centered the composition, and that's fine, but it wouldn't be my preference.
