 Many garbage cans in Berkeley provide a section on top for separating out recyclables, which are then usually collected by homeless entrepreneurs.

Handheld shot with sunlight from the right-front; just cropped a little off the bottom. Multiple tone curves to tweak the contrast a little and change to a more interesting color. Two light passes with Unsharp Mask filter.

The color is nice and the photo is sharp. However, it appears to be slightly unlevel and the subject does not interest me greatly.

Yup, I like this. Not a work of technical genius but I like the view, the symbol (and I'm all for recycling!). I'd like to see what it looks like with a tighter crop to lose the context - [6]
