Beautiful egret! You did a great job capturing the softness fo the feathers and the lines of the body. I'd only recommend cloning out the hand of the person behind it! (There theres always one factor to a photo that someone points out that you just COULD NOT help - and so often its somebody else with a camera in the way! LOL)

Again depending what you had to work with, while the centered composition works well here, perhaps a fraction more space above the head and to the left of the bill/beak, may have made this even better in my opinion. Of course the person in the background, and to a certain extent, the pens/fencing/whatever distract/detract. Not much to be done about the person (save for timing at time of shooting or cloning out in pp), the pens/fencing/whatever perhaps could be used to add an unusual patterned element here, not sure. A difficult bird to photograph and still be able to discern the texture/detail in the feathers/etc. |
