Most of the tributes to Ansel Adams didn't have that something extra beyond technical expertise. Your photo does. Well done. And congratulations on your ribbon.

I've seen a lot of "Ansel-Adams"es, so far, but this one stands out as one of the better ones. Good job.

Perfect capture. Te contrast is wonderful. Your DOF is perfect. The soft movement captured in the water is beautiful. I also LOVE the finer details n the trees mid-point through the frame. Best Adams tribute yet. 10

Well done composition and exposure wise. Did you intend the black band in the bottom of the shot? I find it distracting.

I really like the composition in this, beautiful repetition of shapes, and great tonal range.think you've managed to "convey your chosen photographer's style, subject matter and/ or techniques" extremely well.give yourself a pat on the back.

Wonderful capture. Makes my Ansel tribute look like hagwash. Darn ;-) . I do wish there was a little visible detail in the immediate shoreline, but thats a very minor complaint. Great work!

One of the better landscapes in this challenge. I figured we'd see lots of Adams tributes and this one is excellent. The angle of the shot; the leading line of the "stepping stones," but mostly the vista view and deep contrast. Just exactly what he'd do. Great image 9
