 I shot this in Aperture priority with cameras original lense at 12x optical zoom combined with a 2x digital at a total of 22x zoom (didn't go all the way with it). Eagles do not like tripods so didn't use one.
Croped slightly, adjusted saturation a tiny bit, sharpened and resized.
Such amazing and majestic birds!!

Now I acknowledge this as a very fine wildlife capture as it shows wildlife at work. What doesn't seem to click is the photographic values but I don't know why. Perhaps its because really the bird being the 'hero' of the shot, is lost in the camo of the trunk.

Fantastic picture. Love the details and sharp focus on the face. Sure wish I could see the fish better but great capture.
