Nice Ray! I like it. One thing I really like about it is the way the bird is looking back over its shoulder. Good detail on the bird - looks almost like you could reach out and touch it! ;^) You can do a lot of things with that background (easily select the color, replace it...you know, maybe white? catch my drift? he-he).
Smile and keep having fun!

a small lack of sharpness.. the zoom? For improvement, I suggest to remove the branch over the bird's head. |

wow that composition, light and balance is good. This might be the best I've seen so far. Looks like a Raymond Ching painting ... and he's the best. |

A little soft, but not too bad. This would be great if it were against a blue sky. Very nice composition. |

What if you cropped of the top half and cloned out that top inrtuding branch leaving a more horizontal image? -7- |

Beautiful picture...very well composed. The skyis not blown out and the exposure of the bird looks perfect. Very nice. |

Nice capture and I particularly like your composition. That use of negative space above works well and I do like that lone branch thrusting in from the left. Nice detail in the bird and the catchlight in the eye is just right. |

Oh, pale and brittle pencils, ever to try
one grass-blade's curve, or the throat of one bird
that clings to twig, ruffled against grey sky!"
