Cute kid. I feel the face is a little over-exposed (perhaps soften the flash), and the background is distracting (would have done well to move the duvet).
Personally I think what Anne Geddes does to children is a form of child-crultey (especially when they get older), so thanks for at least not potting the kid like soem flower. |

the background is too busy.
cropping tighter into the child would help eliminate some of that. |

Sorry, but this isn't "Anne Geddes"; it's a snapshot photograph of a baby. It's nice (very nice) for a photo album, but it's just not an "artful shot." Better luck next time. |

Needs a cute little costume or something to be more of a tribute to Geddes. |

Geddes focuses more on putting very young children in rather unnatural settings, like dressed as a leaf or an insect, or in a strangish container, like a can or a cabbage leaf. This is a nice snapshot of a young child, but not particularly representative of Geddes. |

Oh how I wish I could vote higher for this. Such an adorable model but this is not true Anne Geddes style. A for effort ! |

Sorry, too much grain, harsh flash, does not look like any photo of Anne Geddes. |

Sweet baby. I love the natural look. The flash is a bit harsh. |

This to me looks more like a snap shot. I've looked at a few anne geddes baby shots and they are very carefully setup with very nice soft lighting. This is a cute baby, but I think that more time with setting up the pose (difficult with a baby I know!) and lighting would get better result. |

This looks nothing like a Geddes. Hers were tack sharp and she had a use of props to make her babies look like peas, flowers, etc. The colors were rich and vibrant and they are normally done in a studio setting. Usually she uses newborns as well. Sorry, this just looks like a snapshot of a cute baby. |

i don'twant to be harch or have this come across as a put down, so i will comment lightly for now and if u would like a more fully difined comment PM me and i will add all my thoughts, but for now.
this needs alot of refinement before it can be concedered a Anne Geedes copy in any real way. her images are not just a cute baby, they also have some basic photographic points which this image is missing in gross amounts.
keep at it and someday maybe u will be able to really fool us all, but with this image u need to study much more before u get there. |
