| Transparency isn't really the focus here, but it is a a beatiful image regardless. The transparent elements seem to be the clouds, but I think this emphasizes the bird more. |

if you photographed this through a transparent object, it isn't obvious to me from this photo (no distortion, or play with colors). the water in this case is not transparent ... i'm trying to figure out how this fits into the challenge, and it isn't coming to me.
apart from that, the photo is a little dark, the horizon isn't quite level, and i would prefer the placement of the bird to be less centered. just my opinion. (gr8photos - 2) |

| Where is the transparancy? The air or clouds? Definitely not the water, and I think outside of the spirit of the challenge. I have looked at this several times, and I hope I am not missing something. Otherwise decent shot, though a little underexposed?. |

| You do have a really nice image here. Your horizons feels a bit off though, should be level and you want to try and pick a 1/3rd point for it either at the top 3rd or the bottom third. It spend me an entire week looking for a good subject to portray transparency and then you submit this wonderful photo that has no transparency in it. I do not believe you deserve any better than a 1 for not meeting that challenge. |

| I don't see how this fits transparency - is it the clouds? the water? the snow on the mountains? There seem to be transparent things in the picture but as coincidence - not as the purpose of the shot. I think it is a great photo - great stopped motion, good composition.
