Since I had a couple of comments on the title... it's a japanese float against the sky. Floats belong in the water ;) I'm not the greatest with titles, so I just make something up, and dont really worry about it.

I do agree about the board... I should have cropped it out, but at the time I submitted, I couldnt decide what I wanted, and my family thought they liked the board, so I went with it. Poo on them! ;)

drew: it was scratchy and dirty :)

I think your chosen subject had potential, but it just looks scratchy and dirty in this lighting. The board at the bottom is also pretty distracting.

Good composition and exposure.

nice shot. clear and nothing which could distract. good DOF. good lighting, i like how the sun reflects in the sphere. good "transparency".
can't say anything negetive. don't understand the title, though ;-)

I don't understand the title, but I think this image works rather well :) I would have probably tried to level out the wooden rail underneat the sphere but I still like this shot :) = 8 - jmsetzler

Colors are nice, I think the wood that the globe is sitting on is a bit distracting -- the slant of it takes away from the symetry.

Nicely done submission.

Nice work, good idea. Well done would of liked the bottom cropped off. Kee

A slight re-crop to remove the wood might help, but a good photo non-the-less.

very nice but should have had something behind it

nice... : )

what if you'd cropped out the wal so the floating illusion would be enhanced? Of course, this way I can see what it really is... a great idea!
