 I put an icecube on top of my stove and turned it on. Capturing a decent shot was harder then I was hoping, the lighting was difficult (as the stove lights the subject up when its on) and the icecube would start to move as soon as the stove was turned on. Ended up with 5 shot, and picked this one. Did unsharp mask, levels and saturation.

I like the low intensity red and little light on the ice,simple and very good 8 from me!

I love the texture and vibe of this image. Although it probably IS hot , it doesn't actually look hot, mainly because of the lack of any steam or ambient haze, etc. The ice almost looks like a metal. [7]

Definitely added interest to what would havebeen just another stovetop shot. Hoe you didn't make the house stink or anything. :-)
