The depth of field is way to shallow for this shot. The wing in the foreground needs to be in focus for this shot to work. Great colors though!

you attained very good focus on the head, but the composition has suffered. Such interesting colors. I wish you had found an angle that could more fully incorporate all of this interesting scene's elements.

would like to see more of the butterfly in focus - at least the front wing. I like the shallow DOF over the flowers. Nice Bokeh for the background

Nice and sharp on most of the butterfly, but I wish the DoF was wider so we could see the detail on the wing. That's the best part of a butterfly in my opinion.

Yikes, that's some thin dof! A National Geographic shot! The 'close' oof wing puts the veiwer up close & personal.
