She is lovely, but the interpretation is too loose for this challenge, imho. The picture is very good of this lovely young lady, but not for this one. |

Good cover, the title shows imagination. Nice use of black and white, subject is well focused. |

This is a beautiful portrait, but you have really stretched the challenge topic beyond breaking point. |

Certainly a different interpretation ;-)
As a portrate its OK, not something I'm going to spring the wallet to buyt though. |

I credit you for expanding this challenge to it's limits, I am sure you are getting hammered, I like it though so I am giving you a 9 because of the excellence of this image. Read my Sig line on my profile and you will understand. :)

I can't see how this shot fits the challenge, but it's a very good shot nevertheless and a beautiful model. |

not an obvious interpretation of the challenge, but i'll allow it. i suspect many others will not and you will be punished with a 1.0332 average. |

Very nice portrait and an excellent take on the challenge title. |

Beautiful portrait, lighting, sharpness, composition, etc. I can guess the concern over meeting the challenge, maybe some action like playing coy with makeup, fan, goggles, or flipper would have been enough of a tie-in? Best wishes. |

I don't see the 'road' here...there's nothing in the image that makes me think of her transition to womanhood or the path she has to take to get there. All I see is a picture of a girl...for this to really work for me there would have to be something that women do that girls don't and having her contemplating the choice or awkwardly taking the woman's path. The image is very nice...very sharp, nice exposure. Composition looks good...I just don't see the relation to the title/challenge. |

Me, I'm a fan of out-of-the-box shots. I like what you're going for here. My only problem is that I'd say she's on that road, but your title asks me to think she is that road. Really nice portrait in any case, and she definitely looks in-between. |

She is beautiful, however, this is really stretching the step out of the box. |

Not many grayscale shot's look good to me but this seems to put the focus more on the subject as a person and not a girl or woman. Not sure why I feel that way, but I like it. |

you have tried your wit well rather than your camera. |

I understand that the road doesn't have to be physical, and that the road from child to woman would meet the challenge, however I don't feel that this photo actually shows a road from child to woman, but is merely a quite well done portrait, however I think slightly more contrast in post processing would improve it. |

Nice take on the challenge. Its different and takes a bit of thought, so I hope everyone else gets it. Could have better fit the title if a younger girl were also in the picture too. Technically a really nice shot - hope it does well. 7 |

"Road" > "Woman"??? I don't understand. Must be my bad english! |

strectching the topic I think...but what a beautiful girl and a beautiful portrait |

The contrast is a bit on the low side. The model does not appear to be very enthusiastic toward having her image recorded. Without the title I find it hard to see how this meets the challenge. I'm not trying to be mean, especially after the earlier comment that upset you, but if I just said "great image" or didn't comment at all how could this ever help you? |

Come on, now: admitted, this challenge had no specific "details" to follow, but this is just a stretch beyond a stretch. This is a portrait shot of a woman that you "liked so much that you just had to submnit it." Sorry, but the title isn't enough to qualify this image as one relating to "road." It's a good picture, but it's completely insolent towards the demand of the challenge. |
