Cute shot but the composition is poor. The wall and kickboard in the background are distracting. A landscape-oriented shot focusing more on the light around the child and the steps would have been much better.

nice shot. i like how the sun refelcts in the water.
the water is also very transparent, i can see the feet of this buddy ;-)
i would have tried to crop out the dark area on the top. it's a bit distracting.

The orange and blue provides a nice contrast here. I would suggest trying to get closer to the subject so that there is less background, and if possible without drowning your camera, more on eye-level. Good lighting and focus. karmat

I think it would help if this was cropped a bit tighter

the pfd in the background could be cropped out.

I love the use of color in this photo; how you show light colors at the bottom and content grows progressively darker to black at the top of the photo.

Nice shot, I like the way the water looks. Did you use a Polarizing filterfor this shot?

Really good color and lighting. Crop off the top portion with the floatation device though.

Very cute, nice composition. The kind of kid photo that's creative enough to appeal to people like me :). Is this Zeissman's? If so, I can see why you like it so much!

Nice photo. Good image quality. I like his red hair. The water makes me want to jump in! Great work.

Great color, but would have looked awesome cropped around the little boy.

Beautifully captured water surface

Much better than my swimming pool photo. Your reflections and shadows of the swirling water really add to it. I might have left out the floats in the back. but the orange on his arms give it a true punch. Nicely done!

Gotta love the waterwings....What do you call a guy with no arm and no legs in the pool?

Bob.
