Looks too small for Colorado or green River, give us a hint. Great pic!

Gorgeous photo and subject. I like the shadowing in the right of the frame but the one on the left sort of distracts from the composition. Very nice. 8

this is a great scene but the light is pretty harsh on it. it seems to have been sharpened quite a bit as well. i wonder what this would look like in black and white?

Had to look for a minute before I could see what the title was representing.

Lighting is a little harsh, and your focus and sharpness seem a little soft. The dwellings carved in the cliff face are also just a little too hidden.

Fantastic picture, love the beautiful reds and browns.

I feel like I am exploring this place with you. I appreciate the context of the ?caves and the majesty of the river as it flows through the canyon.

oh how cool - can people still get inside those places? I would love to explore them. Very interesting shot!

At first I didn't understand the title because my eye was not immediately drawn to the man-made openings in the rock. I think there needs to be greater detail in that area since it is the subject of the photo. It may have been hard to expose that area enough without overexposing the background though.

Good composition. The color saturation or curves might have helped a lot. 7

Great shot! Can't wait to read where in the canyon this is - I spent thre days down the New Hance Trail (it had better not be near there :) )

this is great in color and would be very dynamic in B&W also....i don't know i think it might have been better in B&W
