" Hangin' Out" is a great shot. I really love this perspective. The subject is amazing and the girl just demands attention. The soft glow and focus is excellent for these children.

I would have really liked to see this shot with a little more contrast, and I really think it would have bumped the score up. Color especially with children always seems to give it just a little more.

This was a great piece because it was different and not the run of the mill entry. The overall composition of this shot is excellent, I don't think you could have possibly cropped it any better. Good work.

it is a bit flat looking, you my try a little contrast and when you do this may have to take down the color saturation some...this might clear it up some. A playful shot.

This is black and white with some grain would be awesome!!! But on DPC it wouldn't have done so well like that..... I would still like to see it that way though.

Beautiful

This is adorable! A touch more contrast would really make the colours pop here.

One the better shots of kids. Nice job keeping it "soft" but still colorfull. The position of the kids is priceless.

Wonderful and unusual candid portrait, filled with joie de vivre and charm. 7.

I like the expression on the front girls face. Just relaxed and abvious in thought. Suggestions, boost the saturations a bit and sharpen the focus

Kid pictures usually don't score very high with me but this is the exception. Very good shot!

What a wonderful candid shot! Each child appears to be showing off a different type of personality!

Awesome soft focus, but the back two girls look out of focus. A tad more dof and this would be one of my highest scores ever given out. Like this it's a damn good shot! Great emotion. Great capture. Great composition. Kudos

I love the softness of the colors, the kids are wonderful, it feels like time is going in slow motion for a minute while girl #1 ponders something. There is motion in the way the faces have fanned out into a semicircle like they will all swing back the other way when time starts going again. I love how the line of colored buttons leads up to her face and emphasizes her off camera gaze.

Really cute photo, love the expressions.

I think the photo seems a little washed out, which could be fixed easily with a contrast boost, but other than that it's a nice shot :)

great photo.. love how some kids are looking and some arent. looks like an ad in a childrens magazine.. :)

this is a charming image, but it comes up quite a bit short on the post-processing-
even a quick levels adjustment, some USM, and noise removal on the background make a really noticeable difference-

feel free to drop me a line after the voting is over if you would like to discuss technique in greater detail

This is a lovely shot, I almost thought it was in the singled out challenge wih a troubling DOF ... for this challenge the DOF works, the kids work, and I think it is lovely.

Very sweet shot can't go wrong with kids and their smiles.
