Lovely shot and well framed with the tree. To improve I would think about the cropping as there is a lot of wasted space above the moon, and getting it on the thirds horizontally may have worked better or just as well. |

I like the way the branches only particially fill the image... |

the out of focus trees detract from the rest of the photograph. |

The lack of noise, the perfect gradient of the waining light "dawn/dusk" make this a sleeper shot. Photographic skills & post processing are combined here in a photo that is exquistely well done ... additionaly the lack of over sharpening for detail on the branches exhibit a restraint that pays benefit by not being over processed. My only complaint (9 instead of 10) is that I prefer color to black and white. |

There is very little in this picture that makes one want to look again. If the tree had lost all its leaves and the moon was cradled by the branches, or if the left and right thirds were cropped off ... then it may be more interesting ... to me. |

This just doesn't make a visual impact for me. It is very monochromatic. The trees don't hold my interest and the sliver of moon is just too tiny to make a strong statement. That said, it probably took a bit of effort to capture it clearly at this time of day. Keep on keeping on is about all I can offer. |

I really like the way the tree triangulates this inage. The gray tones are a great choice here. That little sliver of moon is what sets this apart from ordinary. |

Just not enough in this photo to really jump it above the pack, and the artifacting in the branches is very noticeable. |

I think the moon is too centered in the composition, and too small in the frame to really be the main subject of the photo. I don't really think there is much in the shot to hold my interest. Maybe if there was a more interesting silhouette in front that the tree? |

..actually... I think I would have liked to see this in color a bit more than the B & W conversion you have gone with...the colors of twilight are usually so beautiful. |
