After futzing until the last minute, my real entry fell prey to camera gremlins who had changed my carefully set date. I scurried to grab a different picture and did not notice until too late that my 'save for web' had been set to blur. Blur!? Aaargh. In other words, this shot wasn't born blurry. (orig one is in profile) But I suppose it would have hardly approached competent even so. Oh well. Learned a lot this first time out about what not to do next time, for whatever that's worth.

Grass reeds are always a very interesting subject, and your creative twist adds to the composition. Sort of gives a blowing in the wind feel to the photo. The grass looks like it could be a little sharper and the bright spot in the lower left corner is very distracting.

this picture has a great potential.the perspective is nice and i would say it fits well to the challenge.unfortunately the focus is too soft and there is a distracting yellow light in the left corner. if you would have fixed these to things i think this pic would have done well.

Nice image, but I think needs some post processing to add contrast and remove color cast.
