 Recipe:
Saute 12 oz. of spinach in 1/4 cup olive oil, add a few cloves of garlic
add 2 red peppers (diced) and saute until tender.
Add meatballs(turkey or your own recipe) and heat well...add asiagio cheese to taste.
Mix with any pasta you choose and serve.
(Turkey meat balls: 1 lb. ground turkey
1 diced onion, 3 stalks diced celery, 1 egg and enough bread crumbs to hold mixture together,add some salt and pepper then form into meatballs..saute in olive oil to cook.)
Cropped, levels, unsharp mask, hue/saturation.

Good mix with colors. Crop works well. Makes the dish look very appealing which, after all, is generally the purpose of food pictures.

Lovely colours cant wait to see the recipe on this one but the only distracting thing for me in this shot id the one large spinach leaf at the front with all the highlights on it as its seems to drop my focal plain right down taking my eyes off those sumptuous meat balls. 8

Looks delicious. The shot gets a little dark towards the top, and a tighter crop might have been nice, but it's pretty good, as it is. Nice job.

I like the close up, the direct contrasty lighting, the shine on the food. Two things bother me - the lower right i see the edge of the plate but not enough to balance the upper left - more or less, but not what you got as it is it is distracting. I'd also like to see the front edge in focus - in particular the green leaf on the right 1/3 line is not sharp at all, but very prominent do to placement and lighting so it kind of gives a mixed messsage to me.
