I did not use any noise removal software. I just used Photoshop to practise "beauty retouching". Maybe the portrait would be better as such without it but that was not the point. |

While I agree that compositionally this is a very good image, and in terms of lighting it's very well controlled, I'd disagree on the use of noise removal software here. I do think it's excessive, and I'd agree that there is a fakeness, to the skin tones. I'd bet the portrait would be more effective without the plastic feel. |

I like how this looks too. It doesn't look that fake to me. THis is a great portrait. |
