Very nice except for the reflections on the glasses good use of desaturation, and the depth of field is just about perfect for mine. 8/10 |

Lovely focus on the child but Grandma adds nothing to the shot but the title. Bumping up score. |

Cute baby! Not sure I like the way grandma looks at the photographer and the baby looks away. There is no sense of contact between the baby and grandma (in the shot). All this imo, obviously. Good luck! |

here's a slightly pedantic but grammatically correct point of potential interest to some.
I take it that the title is meant to indicate the baby's reaction to her grandmother. In order for this to be expressed correctly, the title should be "That tickles, Grandma," because "Grandma" functions as a vocative (the person being addressed) and not as the object of the verb "tickles."
As it stands, the title says that "That" (presumably the baby) is currently tickling Grandma. I can imagine someone picking the baby up and rubbing it against Grandma, because the baby tickles grandma and makes her giggle. In this respect, the baby is kind of like a long piece of grass.
I suppose that's not what you meant, though |

Nice capture. I probaby would have cloned out the lights and glare in the glasses. |

Great use of DoF but I feel the photo looks a bit over neatimaged. There's nothing wrong with a bit of grain and it definately looks better than plasticy people. This isn't too bad an example but I think you need to be careful with it. |

I like the DOF but find that the bright reflections in the glasses are distracting. A good tone was picked however but the aforementioned problem is detrimental. |

Nice use of soft focus. The color tone is very pleasant. I think perhaps a bit more shallow DOF, or else Grandma not looking so stern would help. Grandmas eyes just don't say "laughter" or "joy" to me. |
