 Bring eggs to room temperature before using.

If the egg has been stored in the refrigerator it can be warmed gently under a flowing hot tap

Place sufficient water to cover the eggs in a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil

Lower the eggs carefully into the water, using a tablespoon

When the water reboils, start timing and reduce the heat so that the water simmers gently

Boil 3 minutes +/- size of egg

not very creative compared to the other entries in this challenge - but it is a nice composition - good lighting with the shadowing and all :)

Just my opinion, but I don't think one ingredient qualifies as a recipe.

Good solid black background, generally good technical quality, well centered in the frame. The white border works. The egg is overexposed on the left side but not badly so. The specks on the egg holder, however, are distracting and reflected light is harsh on its shiny surface. Perhaps there is something you might have done to eliminate them that does not involve cloning.
