 I like this, but it kinda happened by accident. At first the idea was a blue water droplet splashing with a backlight. So i put the water in the syringe to drip it, but after a few pictures I didn't like it. So long story short, I got to here.

I guess some of the syringe is technically silhouetted, but to me, it fits the challenge, because the object did not entirely become a silhouette. The light in the background is a mag-lite with a wet piece of paper over it (to diffuse the light a little).

Editing: crop, resize (obviously), sharpen

The title is from the song "True Blue" by Bright Eyes, in case anyone wondered.

Ah, a Bright Eyes quote. Nice details and subject, but the composition seems a little "dead-center."

From a nursing standpoint... that syringe should have no bubbles in it! But that will not detract from the score! It's just a joke!
