Cool idea

General: First impression is of a charcoal drawing.

Composition: The curves lead the viewer in and draw attention to the center of interest. Good use of negative space. Did you try shots where the vertical curve was more to the left or right therefore placing the nipple less central horizontally?

Exposure: For the effect you are presenting the exposure you chose has worked well.

Impact: Impact here is in the use of shape and form. More impact may have been achieved if the image were on the diagonal.

Exploring shape, form and texture is part of photography. Well done.

I like the concept here, but the composition on this shot doesn't work very well for me. I'm not sure how I'd suggest to improve it, since I'd probably just suggest trying a lot of different things and seeing what works (which you probably already did). I guess the one thing I think might improve it would be more separation of the breast from the rest of the body. Just thoughts.

This is very simple, but very effective. I really like this one.

this is a high key representation - I am not sure yet if that works here.
The central subject is the nipple, with the curved shadow leading the eye to it because of the high key. This keeps the viewer's eye completely centered in the photo. Therefore, I think this may have had a greater impact if you had rotated the photo slightly clockwise, so that the curve shadow begins slightly from the lower left, leading the eye to the nipple which would then be closer to the upper right corner, and the abundant white space would then also form more interesting shapes.

Excellent. It looked very interesting as a thumbnail but I couldnt tell what it was. Then I enlarged it and was pleasantly surprised by what it was. Nice use of tones and a very effective composition. -Tim

i doubt you'll get a lot of high marks on this, since the effect is very non-photographic. I do this kind of thing to photos a lot, but I don't consider them photos after that :) Aside from the edits, i like the composition - breaks a way from the fairly predictable profile shot (4 or 5 in this challenge alone). can't tell you what i think about the lighting, since the edit removes it's effect.

This is one of my favorite shots. It is as simple as it could possibly be without being unrecognizable. Less is more.

nice abstract - subtle qnd delicate. But I don't understand the composition - the line curving from the top right?

image is very stark and left me untouched.. very hard to comment further, gave it a 5 as couldn't go either way with it..
