 This was in a low light situation, hence the noise. Plus the booger wouldn't sit still. He was very nervous. The handler was feeding him at the time. These birds tend to hang out in the bushes of the aviary. Any sudden moves by me and he ran off. All in all, I am fairly pleased with the outcome.

Levels, saturation, crop, USM and I cloned out a small twig that went across his face.

An exceptionally beautifully colored fowl. Wow with its colors. Think you might have gone with a square crop and lose some of the distractions in the background on the left. Great shot of the bird, nice detail and DOF.

Wow, colorful bird! I like the composition and DOF you've achieved here. IMHO the color palette seems a tad on the cool side? Possibly due to the shade in the background? Maybe adjusting temperature in the RAW stage would have added? Just my opinion, nice shot nonetheless.... 7

I think this may have worked better with a slightly different crop, maybe woking it towards hitting thirds a little more. Nice shot though.
