::: Greetings from Critique Club :::

Hi, as requested, here is an indepth critique of your submission.

First Impression - the most important one:
Very cute! and well, it fit the challenge well.

Composition:
One of my pets is composition and is where I make a lot of negative remarks. Here, you have the subject almost centered in the frame. A stronger and ulimately more effective compostion is toe move the subject off center. Move the legs here to the right of the fram with the toes pointed towards center. You end up with a burst of color in a stronger postion in your frame and enhances it against the field of white. Research and practice the Rule of Thirds.

Subject:
Subject is clear and stands out well against the snow.

Technical (Colour, focus, and light):
Colour is good and was essential for this challenge.
Focus seems pretty sharp... although I'd like to see a bit more sharpening in post-process
Light: considering you are shooting color against a see of white, you got the exposure pretty darn good. A tad bit of fill flash would have made it pop just a bit more though.

To grow its vote?:
Composition is king... a slight movement to the side of the frame can make all the difference. Definitely get to know the rule of thirds.

Summary:
Technically well executed and fit the challenge well. A bit more attention to composition could have made this a contender for a ribbon.

Hope to see more from you soon,
Leroy

Could be a stonger image IMO if a little more empty space on left.

Very fun shot. Snow can be tricky to shoot in (lighting wise) but it looks like you've captured the colors nicely with good white balance. Myabe a tighter shot or more crop to emphasize the subject more would have helped?

Now those are some boots! They look fun. I wonder how this would look with a bit more cropped off from the sides, but otherwise, I like it.

cute shot, very original and well done, love the boots - I wanna pair:-) the only thing that could have made this better is the feet in a different position other than just kinda standing there and maybe an off centered comp 'cause these boots are really great!!!
