Food Processor Pasta Dough
1-3/4 cups all purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon EVOO
2 tablespoons water
In a food processor blend the flour, the eggs, the oil, and 1 1/2 tablespoons water until mixture just begins to form a ball, adding more water drop by drop if the dough is too dry. (The dough should be firm but not sticky.) Blend the dough for 15 seconds more to knead it. Let the dough stand, covered with an inverted bowl, at room temperature for 1 hour.
To roll pasta dough: Set the smooth rollers of a pasta machine at the lowest number. (The rollers will be wide apart.) Divide the dough into 8 pieces, flatten each piece into a rough rectangle, and cover the rectangles with an inverted bowl.
Working with 1 rectangle at a time, dust the rectangle with the flour and feed it through the rollers. Fold the rectangle in half and feed it through the rollers 8 or 9 more times to knead it, folding it in half each time and dusting it with flour if necessary to prevent it from sticking. Turn dial down one notch and feed the dough through the rollers without folding. Continue to feed the dough through the rollers without folding, turning the dial one notch lower each time, until the lowest notch is reached. The pasta dough should be a smooth and long sheet about 3 1/2 inches wide. Roll the remaining pieces of pasta dough in the same manner.

original idea - I always wanted to try making homeade pasta - that's interesting the name on the machine - "al dente" - good job :) |

Nice composition and arrangement. Lighting looks good and general image quality is good. The colors seem a little weak as if the image were processed in Adobe RGB(1998) in post processing but was not converted to sRGB before being uploaded which results in weakened colors. |

there is nothing like fresh pasta. I can eat it all the time. Maybe a tighter crop on this pictuer would have been better, but it is a nice photo. 7 |

I like the concept but I would have seen more lighting on the pasta coming out and that part of the image being more of the center/focal point. Good Luck! |

The very-desaturated colors don't really work for me, but I very much like the subject matter. Also, other than the colors, it's a technically sound shot. You might, however, consider B&W with this one. |

Love fresh pasta! Looks a little out of place on that black background, but that's probably because I'm used to seeing it on a table. |

I'm not sure if you have the flour there on purpose or if it was just in the shot? |

Nice job. It would taste even better if you bought semolina flour rather than use the all purpose. |

Hey, I have that same pasta maker. I find the included background elements make the image much more interesting, although I would have used free range eggs ;-). Good work. |

Yum. Ah, could use a bit more color, but focus is right on, and I like the 3rds composition. |
