1 pad of butter or dollop of margerine spread per slice
toast to desired toastiness

(I'm not much of a chef ;) )

*Set-up is on home-made light table (bottom, back and front lit with a total of 5 lights). Applied custom levels adjustment, upped saturation, and USM.

Everything looks like it is floating or cut and pasted on white. Also everything is leaning to the right - wide angle?

Nice composition. To me, the solid white background makes everything seem to be floating. Was that your intention?

Good composition. I like the red toaster and the green plate. The hard part with this type of shot is to avoid getting the camera reflection in the shiny surface (toaster). Maybe someone with way more experience that I have can give you some tips on how to accomplish that though, because I've yet to figure it out...lol

Like it. The handle of the knife could be lower which would expose the logo on the toaster.

Lost points for no shading/lighting effect. May not have been any to begin with but it leaves the picture lacking. Looks to be a few jagged edges from editing.

Nice idea and good lighting too. Not sure I like the knife tho, perhaps it would have been better if it was placed on the plate with the bread? Good job anyway!
