This looks like you applied a selective blur to the non-flower portions of the arrangement. The effect is very nice, but the irregularity of the boundaries is a bit disconcerting. |

Beautiful treatment which reinforces the challenge real well. I would just lose the blurred white vase a little more as it distracts a lot. |

I really like the idea and direction you are going with this shot. The colors and different elements add alot of interest here. IMHO the masking/blurring effect you've used detracts from the shot somewhat since the evidence of the post processing is apparent around the edges of the flowers. It lends a somewhat 'artificial' feel to the photo. I think a similar impact could have been achieved in-camera using shallow DOF and/or multipoint focus and selecting areas to focus on. Just my opinion, nice shot nonetheless |

The post processing blurring should have been evenly applied, or not at all. A good example is the light colored rose just above and to the right of the main pink flower in the foreground. There's a very hard edge where the blur goes from full to none at all, and the line is in the middle of the flower. |

I might be wrong but this looks like a very heavy handed photoshopping blur session, detracts from what may have been a pleasant shot. |

Wow, Your flowers are just exploding with color. I love how you used the glossen blur to create that effect. You did some great editing there. I think that this is such a beautiful image, absolutely love the colors and arrangement of the flowers. Very, Very professional looking. |

I think this may have been a pretty good image that was over edited, or just not edited well. |

The blurred and focused sections seem to inconsistent and with very harsh edges. |

First - the blur effect is horrible. Maybe your photo was good, but you have edited it into something bad.
Second - The challenge say "Use a colorful impact to offset your subject from the rest of the photograph". What is your subject, and what is the rest of your photograph exactly? Is your subject the pink flower in the middle? the yellow flowers on the top? There is nothing that draws my eye except for the sloppy blur. For me this is not meeting the challenge. |

I like the glow, just a bit too much blur in many spots. |

i think maybe this could be improved by having just the main pink flower in focus- the image looks over processed and a DOF like this isnt possible i dont think, flowers at the 'back' of the bunch are in focus while leaves at the front are not. looks like it could have been a clear image with good focus to begin with though, nice colors, i just think the processing detracts from the image quality |

Interesting, the flowers sure pop. Not sure I like your use of selective blur, though, you seem to have been sloppy with it in places and some of the flowers are partially blurred. |

The effect you have applied here makes your photo fit the challenge description very well, but I find it too unnatural to enjoy it. |

This is just me, but I would have gotten rid of the white vase. The blob of white detracts from the dramatic impact of the flowers and green on the black background. Really reat shot. |

Indeed the best thought out flower arangement, the way you have blurred the leaves makes the flowers burst out like a 3-D movie, well done. |

I gave this a lower score at first due to the shallow dof. But the more I look at it, the more I like it. Wonderful colors. |

This is so pretty. I like the floating feeling of the blossoms. Really brilliant and vivid!!!! What an image- and your post editing is excellent. |

I am not sure I am a huge fan of the selective blurring around the flowers, in many areas it seems overdone, I do like the ide and the bright colors though, 5 |
