I think that's just from using a very crap lens :) the only editing done to this was to clone out a few bits of dust/fluff. |

| Wildlife shots like this are always very impressive. The coomposition you have chosen is good, almost more than good. But the softness on the feathers is a touch too much which harnesses reality somewhat. I would have leaned off on that just a little little bit. |

| Lovely shot, I like the cropping with the eye almost on thirds. I think it is a shame that you didn't maximise the shot to 640 on one side, this will have improved its impact in the thumbnails and also in the voting screen. |

| There's something very compelling with that penetrating stare that provides the "wow" factor here and differentiates it from other similar shots. Just not too fond of the very tight crop here. Sorry if that doesn't make too much sense. An 8 anyway. |
