Fields of green so close to the citu is quite amazing... The softer background works well here.

The city hardly seems to be the subject of the photograph; furthermore, the "city" looks more like a hamlet.

Nice idea; think this would benefit from 'rule of thirds' composition, the field pretty much divides it right in half, would like to see the city more

I love the contrast here, it's shame there isn't much you can do about that haze in basic editing.

Nice capture. I really like the layers and contrasts in this shot as well as the deep DOF.

nice leading lines towards the city,
I don't know if it's haze or a shallow depth of field, but it think having the city in focus would have made the picture a little better.
but a good job anyway.

Looks more like suburbia is encroaching than a city.

suitable title, very good picture, I like the composition, it could be a little bit sharper and the colors of the city in the background seem to be washed out...
good luck

Composition is ok. The choice of subject matter is ok. The image quality is ok. Has potential of being really creative. - 5

Living in outer suburbia, and having posted a similar shot a couple of years ago I can understand the sentiment. I like the difference in constrast.

Perhaps "Suburban Life". I don't like the hazy housing. Looks like the fields are stronger and encroaching on the suburb.

ouch. I can feel the encroachment myself. good depiction.

Good title. I don't know how much this portrays "city life" more-so, "suburban life" in my opinion. but it's very unique and i love how you captured the sloping of the field 6
