This is Camel Rock between Espanola and Santa Fe, New Mexico. It really does look like a camel. It is on Indian Land. There is a big Casino on the opposite side of the highway called (guess what) Camel Rock Casino.

Would be perfect if lighting were casting more shadow on the texture of the rock. Great compostion, great subject. Definately fits the challenge. Good Job.

I was thinking, "Nice!" even before I saw the title, but when I did, the camel just jumped out at me. Well, not literally; that would be pretty startling, wouldn't it. ;) I like the light on the tips of the foreground bushes, and the sky contrasts nicely with the subject.

Nice shot but the rock is in shadow ... would have been better with light shining on the rock to bring out the color.

I have something similar in my area, except it is called Monkey Face, and I didn't even think about that until now. great picture though, done very well 9
