| Sorry, but I had to give this a 2. Small, too washed-out at the left building, and it seems more like a Bad New Year (looks to me some soccer hooligans threw a bengal light in a building). Better luck next time! |

| Size is hurting you here. Take a look at the tutorial on how to size your photo for DPC. You want to keep it as close to 640 as you can. |

| The subject (the smoke) seems wedged into a narrow space which I don't find pleasing to the eye. It's somewhat hidden, behind a building on one side and next to an obscure dark space on the other. Should a subject be so hidden? |

| It's a good idea to submit photos that take full advantage of the maximum 640 pixel dimension. It's hard to judge small pictures. |

| photo is too small...probably everyone has made that comment. I submitted my photo this size for the last challenge I entered and had 40 comments all saying "too small!!" :) |
