I really though this photo would place much higher than it did, maybe it got voted low because of the noise or slightly soft focus, but I think both of those things add to the picture, rather than subtract from it.

Doesn't she just have the most delightfully whistful look :) I was looking at yoiur composition and wondering if you could get tighter and end up with more impact or less. I had a play here
hope you don't mind.

If this photo was composed any other way than how you did, it would probably be just too busy. You suceeded extremely well in capturing a great photo!

Vibrant colours and effective composition.

Color seems too saturated, which kind of made the elves details flow into each other. A more shallow dof would have focused more attention on the girl and the foreground of the window.

Liked the colors and the various postures of the toys looked at by the girl, but at the same time they seem a little unfocused

Neat shot! My only gripe is the somewhat soft focus all around. I particularly love all the colors,- they feel very retro.

Great idea and nice composure. I bet you wish you would have had a monopod or something to stabilize your camera a little more :)

I love window displays. I could stand there all night too admiring the display. Thanks for sharing it with us. Nice shot.

Hmm - Myers Christmas windows in Melbourne. I like the composition, and the inclusion of a person (covers the "Life" criteria in my opinion) and the colours make the shot interesting. Good work.
