My model and friend Jessica. OK so she isn't a model but looks like one and does "model" for me in the picture...She is awesome. I am messing around with filters, so sorry i this is too much :)

Love it! I like the grittiness of the image and the starkness of the B/W - IMHO, they really add to the lines and mood of the shot. Great job.

I think the model is beautiful. I love the look in her eye. It does indeed pierce you. The filter applied adds to this image, giving it a more dark appeal. I feel an entrapment, but not necessarily one that isnt wanted. Her lips seem to give the despair feel, with yet a hint of a smirk, but those eyes, they tell a different tale. Almost like the damsel in distress who turns out to be the bad guy. Her look almost gives me a "spider and fly" feel. As if she is saying, come into MY web. Just my take on it. Very nice capture

Interesting shot. I'm not a fan of the way her hand is over her one eye, it makes the eye look really dark and off balance IMO. Have it drop down a bit so we can see the white of that eye too. I do like the hair in her face, and the (I'm guessing) threads running through the foreground give it more of a dark feeling, as does the grainy, photocopy-style lines running through it. As far as filter experiments go, I'd say this is a success.

very good job. i like the depth the lines give it. i am not too sure about her eye though it seems a bit too white.

I had to be really nit-picky to find something I didn't like about this image. And, that would be the frayed string over the pointer finger.

I particularly like the messed hair and the way her eyes pop with whiteness.

Ofcourse you know I also admired your DoF image and what I told you about it ;-) Keep it up, man. We'll be reading about you some day.

Hmm. I am still going over this... I think it seems busy. I like a lot of the individual elements but all of them together are too much. The filter, the lines,& her hair in her face are all fighting for my attention. If you are going for a shot to make someone stop in their tracks to study it then I think you have that here- if chaos is the subject (meant in a good way) then well done. I hope this all is coming across okay. I am sleepy. Overall- I like it, it's just a little busy.

I think the composition is overall good. Possibly drop the hand down the cheek an inch or so. I like the lines in the foreground but dont really care for the filter treatment. I would suggest letting the photo/model speak for itself and drop the filter. JMO and keep it up.

This is a fantastic picture. The concept is lovely, I like have you have given the picture and worn look with the vertical grain.

The minor issue is the layout of the thread which is coming apart above/showing on the models hand and the bits of it looping - this may be intentional but ... I found this distracting. so only a minor issue and not one that really makes a lot of difference.

Overall, fantastic concept, neat execution and the changes I would like to see are only for my benefit and others need not agree.
Cheers, Kari
