interesting idea, color flat, lighting ok, blacks need work, whites ok, great texture, nice dof, comp ok, nice lines, overall not interested

Nice lighting on the dock. Did you dodge and burn, or did it look like that naturally. Horizon looks a bit tilted I think.

Very sharp. The wood detail is excellent, and the water does not have the broken look that many images of water do. Nice job.

This is one of those photos that I think the photographer loves more than the viewer. One of the hardest things to do is to make something *you* like, into something everyone else will like. I struggle with that all the time myself.

For me, this is a very uinteresting photo. It's not a subject that pulls me in, it's not a composition that makes me say, "wow, that's different", etc. Of course, I don't know the reason why you think it's interesting, but it just doesn't have the appeal that is needed for people that *don't* know.

Excellent textures in the wood. I like the subtleness of the colors in the sky and water, with that slight pastel coloring on the horizon. Very nice. The composition is also very good - I like the angle of the dock

Oversharpened, but the texture in the dock is awesome. Shame there's no water here! Overall the effect is less than desirable. 4/10
