Excellent colors. The extreme wide angle works so well here to compliment the subject. Good luck.

The angle and colouring of this are great! And the stopped motion with such a long exposure is damned fine too. I keep wanted to see more wheel detail, but she's nicely on thirds now and a tighter crop might just not work

With the muted colours you have here I wonder if B&W might work better?
01/08/2006 02:22:09 PM
Nice lens choice, great shot!
01/08/2006 02:19:24 PM
Just superb....the best I've voted on all day. Composition, colour, emotional appeal, and general impact are all so strong.

Unusual color tones, and unusual photo angle, but works well in this image...
01/07/2006 07:03:07 PM
Nicely done, Good perspective and use of space.
01/07/2006 07:25:57 AM
Great angle! What lens did you use?
01/07/2006 05:14:32 AM
Awesome photo. I love the angle of this shot, very creative. The lights of the ferris wheel against the tones of the sky are great.
01/06/2006 04:29:04 PM
Good use of angle and focal length.

good luck

I don't think we very often see ferris wheels in the city. I guess I kind of get what you're going for, if you mean it as a metaphor or something, but it's quite a stretch. This is, however, a great picture.

Great use of fisheye. Slight brighter levels and/or saturation might be better? Curved horizon and clouds makes the sky seem like a huge moon - very nice.
01/06/2006 10:03:30 AM
Excellent use of wide angle. The only thing I'd like to see on this image is a bit more contrast on the wheel, it doesn't 'pop' enough.
01/06/2006 09:59:17 AM
I love the dizzying effect you've created.
01/06/2006 08:16:43 AM
Interesting perspective but kind of fish bowl like with the wide angle, sky doesn't seem interesting enough for so much prominence + not much 'city' here
01/06/2006 12:03:36 AM
Great shot, I like the perspective (10)
01/05/2006 08:27:18 PM
great fisheye shot...8
01/05/2006 04:32:56 PM
I really like this! I love the angle, and the almost fish-eye perspective.
01/05/2006 03:36:45 PM
Wow great shot, I love to be able to see Paris from my computer here in Colorado. I love the angle.
01/05/2006 01:50:50 PM
Great composition and angle here. The fisheye effect works well to emphasize scale and the colors are nice..... 8
01/05/2006 12:26:42 PM
Great use of fisheye distortion, makes it very dynamic. The light stands out of the surroundings with a sky like that and the dark ground.
01/05/2006 10:13:08 AM
Cool photo. Dramatic. The fisheye and the dark clouds help the dramatic feel. Nice angle.
01/05/2006 09:44:47 AM
oh cool! i like the wide angle, cool title, and great sky 7
01/05/2006 05:45:30 AM
gorgeous composition! great job.
01/05/2006 04:09:42 AM
beautiful shot, but I feel it is about the architecture more than "life". 8.
01/04/2006 11:22:07 PM
beautifully shot, great colour and perspective. would love to know what the lens was. I have a Sigma 10-20mm. 8
01/04/2006 07:23:26 PM
Great use of the fisheye!
01/04/2006 05:36:45 PM
IMPRESSIVE I must say.
So well to capture it without those movin' thingies and with perfect colors, must've been hard in a cloudy darky day... Really, I'm impressed. Great! 10!!
01/04/2006 04:06:52 PM
Love the darkness and wide angle.
01/04/2006 02:36:36 PM
good use of your fisheye!
01/04/2006 12:19:03 PM
I love the colours against the gloomy background. This shot really has a lot of atmosphere about it. I might have preferred it without the fish-eye effect, but its difficult to say without seeing it - I think a bunch of the silohuetted lamp-poles towering up would have looked great with it. Good work.
01/04/2006 10:58:33 AM
Just... beautiful!
01/04/2006 10:19:51 AM
I love the angle and the fisheye lens used. 9
01/04/2006 08:02:46 AM
Simply put, a (10)
01/04/2006 05:51:13 AM
great perspective
01/03/2006 08:36:38 PM
Wow this is great with the fish eye lens. I think it might be my favorite. I like everything about it. The duplicity of the circular sense is amazing. 10
