 I was desperately looking for something decent that hasn't been seen by the eyes of DPC. This was very hard, as most of my files were on my laptop, which is elsewhere. This was taken on Mauna Kea, I belive during the same shoot as all my other Mauna Kea pics. It was taken with my old olympus, which I don't have anymore.

I love the sky and the cinder cones. Those clouds really look great. The composition is too static though. The foreground doesn't add to the image.

Nicely framed but the soft focus in the foreground confuses my eyes.
Would have preferred this shot sharp from front to back.
Still a nice photo and loving the clouds.

blurry foreground is a little distracting, perhaps cropping a bit of that off would make it better to me - the top half of the image is stunning - a superb capture - nice job :)

The fuzzy foreground is rather distracting... More aperture for more depth of field?

the blurry foreground really kills this for me. the background is marvelous, but there might be just too much foreground in this. just an opinion. great clarity in the back though

The foreground on the right looks awfully out of focus. The mid-ground is also completely void of detail. Because of this, the eye has trouble flowing from the front of the image to its rear.

The hills in the background look so nice. However the blurred rocky foreground is really bothersome, imo.

The landscape is somewhat interesting but the blurred foreground is very distracting and marrs the overall image. A simple solution would be to crop a good portion of the foreground so that the eyes are drawn instantly beyond to the nice clouds and domes.

Don't know what's going on in the foreground, but it makes me feel drunk. You needed a much bigger depth of field here.

I really like the top 2 thirds of the shot, but the bottom part which is out of focus spoils it in my opinion.

Neat scene. Seems like a different crop might help the composition, getting rid of part of the large black area to the left and a bit of the unfocused foreground.
